This gave me so many feelings. I think it's an outstanding story, with a gap between intense and cute that you wouldn't think would work out well, but you worked that awesomely, really.

Nino's character catches you right away, you feel his pain (or maybe you don't?), his torment. The feeling of "lacking" something, even though it's not exactly a good thing and what that does to your mind is portrayed wonderfully. He's definitely battling himself, while at the same time he's also fighting to be able to live a life worth living, even though it's not perfect, he's not perfect, his family isn't perfect. He's trying to keep everything together, but it shows how lost he actually is in his relationship with Sho, to whom he lies about his condition. Even when he's being a bit difficult at times, he always remains a perfectly likeable guy with minor flaws.

Aiba gives the story a light kind of air, even though the plot can get dark and heavy at times. He's cute and sometimes quite hilarious and you can feel how he's making Nino's life just that much mroe easy. At the beginning I was wondering, if maybe Aiba actually really only existed in Nino's head, but Aiba soon felt like an important anchor of the story-line, so I figured he must be real in some way. The rule that fairies can only stick with people who need them has a bitter-sweet touch to it, when you're following Nino and Aiba's story, you just want them to stick together, no matter what. Well, Aiba knew how to stick around to take care of Nino. ^^

I liked Jun's character a lot. While he remained subtle, his understanding of hsi younger brother came through very well. Unlke their mother he keeps in the background a bit more and I think that's why Nino turns to him more willingly than he does to their mother - who is, without a doubt only trying to protect Nino, even from himself sometimes, but sadly that doesn't always earn her Nino's love. I think, though, that while she was being protective and even restrictive sometimes, she never appeared unreasobale and I'm sure that's why Nino always respects and loves here, even when he doesn't always like the things she does.

Altogether, awesomely done, this was a very enjoyable read. Thanks for coming up with it. ^__^
